HAMILTON HAS IT. Mr Hooker, of Messrs Hooker and Kingston, says;—“Saturday half-holi-day has been in operation now in Hamilton for the past two years, and has been entirely successful. It has evened up trade over each day of tho week, and wo find business more steady and general. Although at tho time of the poll 1 was strongly in favour of the retention of Wednesday half-dav, to-day, after seeing results, I would bo one of the strongest supporters of Saturday.” liaise Palmerston status by voting for an unbroken business week.
