HOSPITAL REPORTS.

Enquiry at the Palmerston North Hospital this afternoon elicited _the information that Air 11. Burton, who was admitted on Friday suffering from a fractured skull, sustained as the result of his car coming into collision with a railway engine at the Kelvin Grove crossing, was making slow progress and was now conscious at intervals.

Mr W. Sheerin, the Power Board employee who was admitted yesterday suffering from a fractured elbow ns the result of a fall, underwent an operation this morning, and was also reported to be progressing favourably.
