Having had a long and varied experience in the administration of the Borough, I feel confident I can render efficient service to the ratepayers. If elected I will give every consideration to the needs of every section of the community, while studying the general progress of the town as a whole. I will endeavour, by the elimination of slackness and inefficiency in the various departments controlled by the Council, to raise them to a standard of efficiency that will ensure the highest quality of service to the community. lam not in favour of any further borrowing proposals other than those necessitated by the needs of an improved water supply and the extension of the drainage system.
