FIXTURES FOR FIRST ROUND. COMPETITIONS OPEN NEXT SATURDAY. The following is the result of tho draw for the first round in the Manawatu Rugby Union’s competition fixtures, which open on Saturday. The fifth and sixth grade competitions will not, however, open till probably a week later, nominations from clubs closing this evening.
