MANAWATU CO-OP. BUILDING SOCIETY.
A meeting of shareholders in No. 2 group of the Munawaiu Co-operative Building Society was held on Friday evening when a ballot for ±ISOO free of interest was conducted. There was a good attendance of members. The draw, for which Messrs J. C. Young and 13. Osborne were appointed scrutineers, resulted in two Palmerston North residents ;n Mrs A. D. Tapp and Mr Clifford S. Trask drawing loans of £2OO and £3OO respectively. During the course of the meeting, it was announced thut a ballot in No. 1 group would take place next month.
