During tho trial at the Polish Supreme Court of 76 Communist terrorists’ agents, who were proved to have received subsidies from tho Soviet Legation at Warsaw, AI. Hofmokl, the defending counsel for two of the Communists, suddenly whipped out a revolver and fired six shots at a Polish lieutenant, a witness for the prosecution. During the ensuing disturbance the accused tried to escape, but the police and the witness prevented them. M. Hofmokl was arrested. —A. and N.Z. cable.
