PHOENIX PARK MURDER.

THE CRIME RECALLED. Received April 24, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, April 23. The Phoenix Park, Dublin, murders of 1332 are recalled by the death of Lady ('avendish, the wife of the assassinated Chief Secretary, by a remarkable coincidence. Her sister, Mrs r l albot, predeceased her by two hours. Reuter.

On May 6, 1382, Lord Frederkk Cavendish, new Chief Secretary, and Mr I. 11. Burke, permanent Under-Secretary, were assassinated by stabbing, by four men (“Invincibles”) about 7 p.m. in Phoenix Par.., Dublin.
