WELLINGTON, April 23. 11l the ordinary course of events it is understood Parliament will meet about Julie 25, but it is gathered from a letter by Sir It. Heaton Rhodes, Minister of Defence, that the session will be short. Replying to a correspondent who was enquiring about legislation on certain matters, Sir It. Heaton Rhodes says that owing to the state of Mr Massey’s health, and tho probability in consequence of a short session, there will be no time to devote to them.
