BIG DONATION MADE. Per Pren Allocation. AUCKLAND, April 22. Mr Bankart, president of the Auckland Savings Bank trustees, stated at the meeting to-day that the amount for carrying forward as the result of a surplus for the year of £60,54/, and £5949 brought forward last year, was £66,497. Tho directors decided to donate a further sum of £12,500 to the war memorial museum building fund and also to donate £IOOO to the Auckland Sailors' Home.
