[Published by Arrangement.] VOTE SATURDAY FOR PROQRES. SATURDAY HALF-HOLIDAY. NELSON HAS IT. Messrs Buxton and Co., Ltd., says:— “We do not hesitate in stating that we find holding the half-holiday on a Saturday is most suitable from business and employees’ point of view, and we believe those who strongly opposed the Saturday movement aro now fully convinced that the week-end is> the right time to make a break in one’s business. Regarding Friday night, only a few of the retailers observe a late night. We understand there is a move with a view of making this general, but speaking for our own business we are against any late night.” RAISE PALMERSTON’S STATUS BY VOTING FOR AN UNBROKEN BUSINESS WEEK.
