As regards the late night on Friday, 1 am a little more radical than most of the other firms in Christchurch, and am of the opinion that it could bo cut out without interfering with the business. At any rate there is no need for the late night to be later than 8 o’clock. The Saturday half-holiday has never interfered with business in any respect.”
