WINTER SEASON OPENED. The Linton Rifle Club entered upo: its winter season activities on Monday evening, when a practice shoot w.j held on the miniature range. The at tendance was, however, somewhat n stricted owing to the many counte. attractions, only eight members pticipating. Two series of seven slm were fired, two members in Riflomei. Jones and Shelly returning 69’s—one short of the possible—at one of tlie two ranges. The first-named occupied pride of place in the aggregate, Riflemen Page and Brown being on even footing with 134 ? one point behind the leader. Following are- the detailed
