MEMBERSHIP OF A. AND P, ASSOCIATION.

Dealing with the membership the annual report of the Manawatu A. and P. Association states that it has been more than maintained during the past year, a substantial increase being noted. Tlie amount taken to credit for ordinary members and junior associates is £1968 7s 6d, and for life members £147, an increase respectively of £223 15s and £132. There is still room for great improvement in view of tho rapid increase of population that is going on in this town and district. The roll now stands as follows: Honorary life members 18, life members 196, ordinary 1903. junior associates 129. Total financial 2246; outstanding 234 ; grand total, 2480.
