4Heavy Death Roll. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association). Beceived June 4, at 9.80 a.m. NEW YORK, June 3. Five thousand Mexican strikers at Green's copper mines at Cananea, used dynamite in destroying property. They attacked the American miners and forty-five Americans and a hundred Mexicans were killed. The Governor appealed to Washington and finally 450 armed Americans crossed the border and were conveyed by train to Cananea. With the assistance o£ 1500 Texan cowboys they recaptured the mines.
