(Per Prei. j . Association.) WELLINGTON, May 31. The recommendations of the Conciliation Board m connection with the coaehworkers' dispute were filed this afternoon. The Board recommends the number of hours be reduced from I s io -1(1 hours per week, and the minimum rate dT wage for competent men be £'3 per week, Is 3Ad per hour for broken time, broken time u> mean less than 13 hours m any one week ; that piecework be abolished, except in iiie case of trimming, when the minim am wage must be p:;id: that preference be granted to uaionijis, conditional on the union U'eptiiig competent tradesmen without bill bit or other election, ou payment o!' an entrance fee of lis (jj and a weekly stib>criplion not exceeding sixpence; that the award come into force on the I-t duly, and remain m force for three years. The rate of wages under the existing aivard, which only covers WeiIbgton and suburbs, is Is 3d per hour, k : it is proposed mat the new award shall also include all the districts as far north as Napier and Wanganui.
