The former club won by one go;tl to nil, Dannevirke kicked oil, having the wind in their favour. It anything, Cheltenham had the bc.-t of the tirst spell, and scored within the thirty minutes. The latter team outclassed their opponent* in both parsing and combination. Soon after half time Dannevirke livened things uj>. lust the smart work of liu' opposing backs prevented them scoring. The best men in the winning team were Cart w rig hi, liu** (goalkeeper). Hare and Brown, while Duff, Young. .Marshall, Gordon, and Crespin were tit e pick of the Dan novirke bunch.
