Mr D. Scott, of Rangitikei, has a Handsome Jack—Cordelia filly rising two-year-old running on his Btation, which if looks go for anything should be very fast. The same gentleman's mare Gold Cord has a foal at foot by Worry (by Tormentor, an Australianbred sire). Worry was imported by a Wairarapa sport, and secured by Mr Scott in exchange for Flintlock some years ago. Running on the same place'is a fine well-grown two-year-old colt by Worry out of Gold Cord. The latter mare was got by Gold Reef out of Cordelia, so that it will be seen these youngsters ought to be pretty good.
