Trade with Australia.

(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association), (deceived May 30, at 10.24 a.m.) ADELAIDE, This day. Mr Seddon states he thinks the majority of Australians are favorable to reciprocity with New Zealand. On the other hand New Zealand is also favorable. Figures submitted by him to Mr Kingston in 1897 meant a loss of duty to South Australia of jG25,000 a year, and a loss to New Zealand of £121,000 a year. One of the best things the Federal Government could do this session was to pass a reciprocal treaty between the two countries. Trade between Australia and New Zealand was about JE3,500,000 annually and should be increased by another £2,000,000.
