The Royal Wedding.

(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Per Press Association.) Received May 29, at 8.34 a.m. MADRID, May 28. The inhabitants of Badajoz were the first to congratulate Princess Ena on her arrival. They requested her to plead with King Alfonso to reprieve a criminal condemned to death. The King granted the request of the Princess. The welcome of the people of Badajuz to the English Princess is probably noted because the town when held by the French, was invested three times by \Yellington and the English Army, twice in 1811, and again the following year when it was stormed and taken with great loss of life. The French prior to this besieged Badajoz thrice and in 1811 the Spanish garrison surrendered.
