Himatangi Rifle Club.

The 24th of May was a parade day for tho Himatangi liille Club. A shooting competition was fired by tho members wbilo tho ladies of the district provided refreshments on the range. A large number of valuable trophies were competed for. Iho winner was Mr S. J. Hartley, who won the first prize consisting of a handsome bridle presented by Miss A. Gibb?, and also Messrs Millar and Giorgi'a trophy of a new hat. Tho highest seoro was made by Mr C. Governlock as follows:—2ooyds, M; 500 yds, 83 ; 600yda, 32 ; total, 99.
