— m Messrs Dalaely ami Company, Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cables from their London office, dated 23rd inst.— Tallow-Market firm without change in pricea ; believe prices have reached their highest. Frozen Meat—Sinco our cable of the 17th inst. pricea for Now Zealand frozen lamb aro at par to higher. Frozen mutton : Any change in priccs in favour of buyers. Wool—The brlcs closed without furI ther chango. Scoured tnerino wools, | prices aro on tho averago 5 per cent higher than closing ratea of last series; other descriptions of ra«rino wool at par to 5 per cent higher ; tho advance is chiefly on scoured wools Medium and good Qualities of fine and medium crossbred wools, prices are unchanged. Coarse crossbred wools, higher by 5 to 1\ per cent, except shabby and dingy. Prices ail round are rather higher than last scries' closing ratcH. Total colonial wools available, including old stocks, 166.000 bales. Out of tho net quantity available for sale 01,000 bales have been sold for Home consumption, 57,000 bales tor tho Continent, 9000 bales for Amcrica, leaving 9000 bales to be carried forward to next series. Butter (London, 24th May)— Danish butter higher by 2 kroner (about 2s <JJ) per cvvt, in consequenccof active demand in Germany ; consequently good demand for strictly fine quality, but second class quality any change of price is in favour of buyers. The total import* of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the 19th inst. amounted to 82,000 cwt, and tho snmo quantity was imported during toe corresponding week of 1905.
