~—«. The opening of the above Skating Kink takes place in the Zeakndsa Hall this evening at 8 o'clock, admission being by invitation only. The Mayor has kindly consented to perform the opening ceremony, and during the evening an exhibition of fancy skating will be given. The proprietors open a thoroughly up-to-date roller rink well stocked with the latest American skates, plain and ball-Hearing, and will introduce during the commit season the latest American novelty amusements. The director, Mr F. Mcintosh, states that nothing will bt* spared to promote the comfort and convenience of patrons, and good order and decorum will be rigidly enforced. Instructors will always be in attendance to assist beginners, the ladies being specially catered for. A first-class band has been engaged to p)av selections every evening. Ihc first children's matinee will be held on Saturday morning, when children will be admitted by invitation and Gd wilt be charged for use of skates. Hours, prices, etc, are published elsewhere.!
