The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile. Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from their London House, dated 2lth :—Wool. — Sales clo?ed market (irnt for merino, slightly weaker for crossbred owing to purchases sufficient to meet immediate refinements. Good merino 15d, medium merino 13d, inferior merino '"Id ; fine eoarscbred I Ski, medium crossbred 1-fkl, eoar.se crossbred 13d t'lD's). eonr.se crossbred (3G's) 12|d. Tallow.—We quote present spot values fo,- the following descriptions of tallow : Fine mutton 30s, good beef 28s 3d, mixed 27s tkl. -Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held a clearing gale at Mr Wm, Walker's fanu at Kaitoke, when they disposed of nil his stock and farm implements at satisfactory prices. The weather was very wet and cold, hence a somewhat small attendance of buyers. All btock not sold [tinder the hammer was readily quitted by private sale afterwards. A line of about -100 sheep, consisting of 2-tooth to f.f.m. ewes, and 2 tooth and 4-tooth wethers, averaged 15b per head. Springing cows realised £i 10rf to £5, and springing heifers £3 12s 6d to £4 per head. One draught colt realised i'Bs, Massey Harria seed drill £22, and Massey-Harrts mower 112 10s. All the implements sold at good prices.
