A Correction.
{To the Editor), Sn:, —In this evening's paper the following paragraph appears :—At the meeting of the \Vanganui Education Board on Monday Mr G- Cur son moved, that ut future the meetings of the Selection Committee W open to the Press, and to a credited representative j of the Teachers' Institute, and th-it the .committee endeavour ,t- tar as possible ! to hold their meetings in the even- j mga. After discussion the motion was lost by & large majority." Will you permit me, sir, as the j seconder of that resolution to correct uri error in the übore. There wore seven members of the Board present, three voted for the resolution (Messrs Carson, Fraser and Spurdle) and four against it (Messrs Adams, Atkinson, Dixon and Pirani), so that the resolution was lost by a, bare majority not a large one.
