t l ( or the third quarter of the present j season, Lochiel's stock have won 79 races, , with 27 representatives, in Australia, [ and the value of the stakes amounts to ( £17,669. Grafton is next on the list ( with 41 winners of 954 races, worth £12,547. During the past e ten seasons, Lochiel hay occupied top place on five occasions, he was second once, third twice, and fourth twice. During that time his representatives have won the enormous amount of £123,517 in stake money. The New Zealand-bred True l Blue is fourth with £7467, and another Maorilander in Multiform occupied tenth place, with over £4000, Now that the two-yoar-old racing season is over, a list of fourteen of the principal wianets will not be amiss. I quote from " Pentagraph's " figures. Kirriemuir is an easy first with five races, valued at £1705 ; Cambrian id next on the list, with four wins total-, ling £800; Ivanoff, ono win, £715 ; De Witte, four wins, £370; Pylades, £845 ; Loftus £340; Lady Landon £336; Zimj merman £310; Mungista £305; Conductor £300 ; Huascar, with a first to his credit, £250; Lapland, £225; Primo, £210; Pireiron, £200. An unusual feature in connection with this season's two-year-old racing is that the famous Yaldhurst stable failed to capture a single event.
