Auction Sales.

The assigned stock sale of boots, jshoes, drapery, clothing, etc, to be conducted by the Manawatu Auctioneering 'Coy, will commence to-morrow at lp m. and be continued on Friday and Saturday. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., hold a clearing sale of' dairy stock near Colyton on May 30 on account of Mr G. H. Shute. Forty first class cows will bo offered. The herd is descended from picked cows which Mr Shute brought with him to the district over twelve years ago. Harry Palmer and Co. draw attention to a few of the specials advertised in. their sale to-morrow, which include drapery, fnrs, gramaphone, stand camera, Japanese tea sets, some good second-hand furniture, pumpkins, piemelons, and a large list of sundries | without reserve.
