Association w rote notifying that special concessions in railway fare* would be granted to children to attend the Pal* mcrston Winter Show. * Tararua. —In regard to a letter from the Chairman of the Tararua Committee offering to sell the Board the tank from the old school as well as other conveniences, the Chairman remarked that the tank had been given by Messrs Hoi ben and Kirk fur school purposes, and the other conveniences'; had been supplied at the Board's :o*f, so the generous offer of the committee was not accepted.
