Bridge Memorial. — The Ciia rfflan and Carson and Spurdle were appointed a sub committee to cooperate with the Wan ga nut School Committee and others in connection with the proposed memorial to the late Mr G. S. Bridge. Tararua. — A letter was received asking the Board to clear ground.* and erect tank, etc. The Chairman «aid that the residents had promised to clear the ground. Advertising.—The proprietor of the Manawatu Times wrote asking the Board for a share of advertising.—The Chairman said that about two year* ago the Board invited tenders for the advertising of vacancies. The tender ot the M vw.ntc Kvkning Sta.vj>uu» was accepted,—Resolved that the letter be received. Winter Bhow. —The secretary of the Mana .vatu and West Coast A. and P. Association w rote notifying that special concessions in railway fare* would be granted to children to attend the Pal* mcrston Winter Show. * Tararua. —In regard to a letter from the Chairman of the Tararua Committee offering to sell the Board the tank from the old school as well as other conveniences, the Chairman remarked that the tank had been given by Messrs Hoi ben and Kirk fur school purposes, and the other conveniences'; had been supplied at the Board's :o*f, so the generous offer of the committee was not accepted.
