Mr beaaori, in an interview, expressed his appreciation of the kindness and courtesy of the Governor-General, the Governor, ana* State Ministry. He adued :—" Although the Tasman Sea separates us, our hearts beat in unison, and the bonds botween us must grow eli sor and stronger." ! While in Melbourne' Mr Seddon will uiscusS the New Hebrides question with Mr Deakin, the Commonwealth Premier. Mr eeddon in a farewell letter to Mr Carruthers, the State Premier, expresses his "grateful thanlcs and deep appreciation of the cordial kindness 'and unbounded hospitality shown him, which he feels i:s not so much to himself personally ; as to do honor to New Zealand." He hopes Mr Carruthers and his colleagues will t»ke an early opportunity of visiting New Zealand, where he will be tendered, a right goood Now Zealand " Haere mai, kin ora, aroha."
