IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Town District Act, 1881, the Kongotea Town Board hereby resolves as follows : — That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on n loan of £700 authorised to be raided by the Kongotea Town Board under the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loatos Act, it9ol, for acquiring, developing and 'exteudini! an Electric Lighting Piafnt, the said Kongotea Town Board hereby makes and levies a Special Kato of one half-penny in the £ upou the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Rongotea Town District, and tbat such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the Ist day of September and the Ist day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 2S years or until the loan is fully paid off. Notice is hereby given tbat the above resolution will be submitted to a special meeting of the said Board to be held on Thursday, the 14th day of .lane, 1906, at 8 p.m. for confirmation as a special order.
