Newth, Park Road, announces that he has been appointed special agent in this district for Professor M. Lee Edwards' course in modern hypnotism and will receive orders for same. Mr J. Roberts, watchmaker, inserts a replace advertisement, in which he offers a silver hunting watch for ;£5 10s. The Commissioner of Crown Lands advertises a sale of Crown Lands (Ohakune township) to be held at Wanganui on June 13. Ratepayers will be addressed at Municipal Hall on Thursday evening by the Mayor. Broad Street Methodist Band of Hope this evening commencing at 7.15. Tea, refreshment rooms and accommodation house, Dannevirke, for sale. Messrs O'Connor and Tydeman, watchmakers and jewellers announce that they have made a great reduction for cash in all lires of watches. The prices are given in an advertisement on the lender page. A list of Y.&I.C.A. fixtures are published in another column. The harriers will have a run to-morrow night. On page 2 will be found some information in reference to Northern Wairoa, which is coming into prominence as a first class farming district. Messrs Buston and Co., of Rangifcikei-strect, have a number of excellent farms in that district for sale, particulars of which can be obtained from the firm. Builders' attention is drawn to the date when tenders for additions to the Club Hotel, Pahiatua, close Monday next, 21st, at 5 p.m. Mr E. Larcomb is architect, to whom tenders may be forwarded. .
