To-morrow's Matches
Hockeyites and the public generally have an excellent programme presented to them to-morrow afternoon, and all looking for an afternoon's spore will find it on the Showground.
On No. 1 ground Old Boys and Awapuni will meet, and the result is expected to be an exhibition cf hockey as it should be played. Great interest is being taken in this match, and the chances of both teams are regarded with equanimity by their supporters. A large attendance of spectators is expscted. On No. 2 ground Phoenix will do battle with Feiiding, and a willing encounter is expected. Y.M.C.A. - Pioneer and High School will occupy No. 3 ground. Two junior matches will be played, Awapuni-Old Boys at 2 p.m., and High School-Campbell-street School at 3 p m. On page 2 •' Half-back's " notes on last week's matches will be found. The following will represent Phoenix against Feiiding to morrow :—Ekstedt, Amos, Christensen, Lissaman, Hodgins, Tucker, T. Chiids, Gardner, B- Childs, Watchorn, Wood. The following will represent Old Boys senior and junior to-morrow :—Senior : Walkley, Adams, Tew, Tait, Fraser (2), Drew (2), Crump, Jones, Collinson. Junior: Russell, Mitchell, Meatyard, Allen (2), McDowell, Kidd, Clearer, Fitt, Wilson, Sheerm ; emergency, Trigance. Y.M.C.A. team :— Miller, . Harris, Skelly, McMurray, Stevenson, Jones, Boon, Bell, Waldegrave, Scott, H. Jones; emergency, Kichardson. The following will represent Awapuni against Old Boys to-morrow :—Scott, Spencer, Watson, Slack (2», Sorensen (2), Goffi, Wilson, Pedersen, Crook.
