The Arbitration Court gave reserved judgment to-day in reference to the chargeibronght against Walter Kellow, a baker, of having . dismissed Join Domenech from his employment because of Domenech being a unionist. It was the first case of the kind heard in the colony since,the; Arbitration Act came , mto force. . The allegation- was made that Domenech had been told by Kellow that he was too particular about the award and was discharged because he applied for overtime payment. Respondent contended that, Domenech was dismissed for reasons connected with his competency. The Court found that Kellow had given a fair explanation of his action, though it involved an admission of irritation. . The case would be dismissed.
r DUNEDIN^ October 7. A number of Dunedin unemployed intend interviewing Sir Joseph Ward and asking for relief works to be established. Veinon E_ing has been arrested, charged with the forgery of a document in connection with the Keenan case. Sinsationbl* developments are expected.'
