"Unsolicited Testimonial to Centaur Bicycles."
(Extract from Letter just received.)
To J. B. Clakksox,
Palrnerston North,
Dear Sir, —Regarding machine, it was sent from Scotland, where my friends, who are experienced cyclists, speak most highly of them. I have had considerable experience of bykes, and can see the " Centaur " is about as near perfection as regards lightness, strength, and easiness of draught as it is possible to be, and all my friends,'who know anything of bykes?hold this one in high appreciation. It is certainly the finest machine I have seen. Regarding the price I can't say, but I should say in regard to quality that it would be cheap at the highest rates going for. other machines, and I would have no hesitatation in recommending it 'above any other that I have looked at.— l am, yours respectfully, . . Henry Law. Te Roti, September 30th, 1904. • I may say that so easy is the draught that my daughter, aged 12, could ride it for a long distance within a few hours of ! its receipt. j H.L.
