Theatre-goers will learn with pleasure that the popular Woods-Williamson Company will pay a return visit to Palmerston, opening at the Zealandia Hall on Tuesday next. The opening production will.be Maud Williamson's original and clever dramatisation of Marie Co'relli's world-famed novel f Barrabas." On Wednesday, October 12th, the .company will produce for the first time on any stage in Australasia, i' The Garden of Lies," and on Thursday, October 13th, Alexander Dumas' " Camille " will be produced. The company's season is limited to three nights as Mr Alfred Woods is leaving for America at an early date. Each production will be staged on a very elaborate scale. A full orchestra under the direction of Mr Henry Hawkins, R.A.M., has been specially'", engaged for the Palmerston season. Mr Everard Woodhouse, touring manager for the Company, is now in Palmerston making preliminary arrangements for the opening night.
