Buanytliorpe Notes. ■ o (From our own Correspondent.) I am informed that the Bunnythorpe Piifle Club have decided to open the range, on the Sth of October at 11 a.m. The butts have been greatly improved, and the marking thereat will be a pleasure in future. Trophies to be fired for on the opening day will be on view in the window of the Post Office Store. A big supply of ammunition has been laid in, and all the rifle clubs in the district are to be challenged during the season, and beaten, if possible. Our township presents a busy appearance at present, and of course it will be more so as soon as the dried milk factoryis ready to commence work. The " Benedicts' Ball" is to be held next week, and it is expected that it will surpass anything of the sort that has been bold here. It is understood that a confectioner's shop is to bo opened here. The wonder is that there has not been one long ago, as there is a good opening for a business of this kind. Mr Fred. Dixon was entertained, and received a presentation, on the eve of his departure for Utiku, where ho is going farming. Lyceum Theatre. ■ o ■ Bookings. Just about now you will find.lots of apparently healthy people, young and old, suffering from vicious-looking pirn pies that cause a great deal of pain and unpleasantness. When pimples and boils begin to show, it is an indication that the blood is vitiated by poisons, and the system is making an effort to got rid of the poisons through the pores of the skin. Nature now needs assistance, and a tonic laxative like Impey's May Apple acts directly on the liver, stimulates its action, and thus ensures ! the thorough cleansing of tho blood. The bowels are cleared, and the kidneys kept active. Impey's M.ay Apple works with, and not against nature. Sold by chemists and storekeepers at 2s Gd ncr bottle.
