LONDON, Oct. 3,
Admiral Alexieff s train, while escaping to Harbin, after the fall of Liaoyang, collided with an ambulance train, killing 40 wounded.
General Kuroki's vanguard is at Fano--Iriapu, a village on the Mukden side of Tunkifang pass, 16 miles south-east of Mukden.
Other columns are descending the western slopes of the Tling range, the extreme right wing menacing Mukden, being considerably to the eastward.
