Napier, Sept. 29. In the second round of the ladies' championship to-day Mrs Abraham and Mrs A.'Strang beat their opponents with ease. , '

In the secoud round of the' men's ohamj ionsbip, Kurepo Tareha was beaten by Tuahini, a local player, 1 up at the 20th hole. A. Strang was beaten by Kawhi, B.up ana 6 to play. P. L. Gordon beat Sauhdera, 2 tap Bnd 1 to play. W. E. Reed beat Murray, 7 up and sto play. .

Mrs Abraham won the ladies' driving and approaching, Mm A Strang being second.

In the ladies' foursomes Misses Balfour and McLennan tied with Misses DaMis and-Dinwiddie, ana will play off. ' In the men's 2-hole handicap Tuahini, J. SfcraDg, T. Crosse and J. Beatson, Ben., tied with net 84, ana will play off.
