* ~~~ o— ——«. A meeting of the holiday Association was held this morning at the Council Chambers. Present.—Messrs G. H. Bennett (chairman),' Nash, Simmons, Cohen, Durwavd, I Eaiulell, Dixon. Whiteford and Malcolm. It was decided <,o observe the second and third show days from 1 p.m. I The usual holidak- on the King's Birthday (Nov. 9th) Will also be observed. Owing to ChristmAs Day falling on Sunday this year it w fIS resolved that a special general meeting of business people of Palmcrston be convened to 1 consider the holidays \o be observed. I j
