Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London office dated 26th inst:—Wool sales: The quantity of new wool to be admitted is not limited and all arrivals up to within eight days of the opening of the sales will be adniittad, The first series of sales has been fixed to open on January 17th, the second on March 7th, the third on May 2nd, the fourth on .July 4th, the fifth on September 19th and the sixth series on November 26th. The limit for quantity (if any) is to be settled later. Butter: The market is firm with an upward tendency.
