"Scotland in Song and Story."
Tiie visits of/ musical entertainers to the colonies whose repertoire is confined to. the purely Scottish element are few and far between, but the success already met with by Miss Flora Donaldson, Scottish".and Gaelic.prima donna, and Mr Gavin Spcnce, -tenor, will prove exceedingly welcome, and doubtless when' the two- artistes, whose entertainment, "Twa Hoors. at Hame," is deservedly popular, appeal- in Palmerston on October 4 and 5 there will be large audiences. According to the Otago Daily Times, in Miss Donaldson and Mr Spcnce, Scottish song and story have two very able exponents. Their entertainment, says that journal, was one of sterling merit from an ordinary point of view, while from a Scottish point one would hardly venture to measure or limit its, excellence."
