Molasses, a waste product in the manufacture of sugar, will keep their horses in prime condition, give a shine to their coats, increase then* vigour, strengthen their constitutions. Dairy cows, if fed on a bucket of molasses diluted with water, will keep in condition and their milk supply will be increased at least 25 per cent. Sheep will eat hay sprinkled with molasses ravenously and thrive on it. "Why it has not been generally used is because the price has been prohibitive. The United Farmers' Co-op. has just completed a purchase of 50 tons at such a price as will place it in the hands of consumers at just half the cost that has been quoted formerly.
