The Advance on Mukden.

LONDON, Sept. 26,

Colonel Gadke, war correspondent, reports that the Japanese,, on Thursday, occupied Daling Pass, after a slight engagement. '

Some reports state that General Kuroki has seized the hills north-east of Mukden in order to cut the Russian retreat to Tiehling. The Daily Mail's St. Petersburg correspondent states that General Linevitch's corps and the Orenburg Cossacks have reached Mukden.

The Russian advance guard is several versts south of. Hun river.

After the Smolensk and the St. Petersburg had coaled, they sailed for Liban. The order for the British cruiser Furious to leave Port Said at two hours' notice has beenjcancelled.
