Bowling.

The New Zealand Bowling Association now has 32 clubs affiliated to it.'

At a meeting of the Woodville Bowling Club, it was decided to make the subscription for old members 42s and that for new members and occasional players 21s.

The local greens are in capital order as the result of the attention they have received during the past few weeks. The opening of the season is being awaited with interest by members.

A reminder is given of the meeting to be held at Mr Lissaman's this evening to form another club, in Palmerr ston. - The meeting is not being held on account of any opposition ,to the existing club, but merely because'it. is.considered sufficient ,members can be;obtained to run a second club in this town.
