Messrs Dalgety & Company, Limited, have received 'the following cablegram from their London office,|dated 22nd inst.:— Frozen meat—For frozen beef prices are steady. We quote: N.Z. beef, ox hinds, 180 to 2201b5, f.a.q., 3-^d per lb ; ox fores, 2-Vd per lb ; Australian beef, ox hinds, 160 to 2001bs, f.a.q!, 2^d per ib ;' ox fores; 2 3-8 d per lb. Prices are unchanged for N.Z. prime crossbredmutton. Sales'have taken place of Australian mutton, heavy weights over 501bs, crossbred and for merino wethers, f.a.q., at 3 5-16 d per lb c.i.f., and of sides of New Zealand beef 2]d c.i.f. Butter—Since the date of our last telegram prices of Danish butter are unchanged. Hides - The market is quiet. Any change in price is in favour of buyers.
