London Wool Sales
(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Per Press Association).
LONDON, Sept. 21. The wool catalogue comprised 9,619 bales of indifferent selection. Merinos are largely second hand lots transhipped from Continental combing mills. Ten thousand of these will be offered during the series, raising the total available to about 85,000 bales. There was a good attendance of buyers and splendid competition from all [quarters. Everything was very firm. The finest crossbreds were from par to five per cent above the July closing rates.
