The Workers' Political Committee passed resolutions and forwarded the same to the Premier approving of Mr Tregear's memorandum on ren£arid advocating a Fan* Rent Bill; also, in favour of the retention of the School of Mines in Dunedin. They, also, sent a telegram to; the Premier .and, city members protesting against the Waipori Bill. '" '■ MASTERTON, This 'day. Mr John Holmes addressed a representative meeting here yesterday on the question of establishing a dairy produce exchange. At the conclusion of his address a motion was unanimously carried that in the opinion of this meeting a dairy produce exchange should be established in this district. Mr Holmes will probably be asked to address a further meeting at an early date.
