The final for the Manawatu Club's championship, played yesterday, resulted in a win for A. Strang, who defeated G. Sim, 2 up.
Tbe Manawatu Club having decided to send teams to Otaki and Fabiatua on Saturday, the following players have announced their intention of visiting the respective places:—Otaki: A. Strang, E. Etchings. H. B. Abraham, H. G. Moore, M. Cohen, Mesdames A. Strang, J.Strang and Moore, and the Misses Slack and_. Abraham. Pahiatua : Colonel Gorton, 0. Louißßon, H. Cooper, A. Stewart and M. A. Eliott.
