Emperor of China, has issued a proclamation that the Tashi Lama, who resides at Shigatse (140 miles west of Lhassa) succeeds to the spiritual dignities of .the Dalai Lama, the former Dalai Lama having fled when Colonel Younghusband's British mission entered the Thibetan capital. Colonel Younghusband is to leave Lhassa on the 23rd inst. (next Friday.) (Received September'2o, at 9.33 a.m) BOMBAY, September 19. The Arnban accuses the Dalai of many offences too gross to go unpunished, including the non-settlement of the Sik-kim-Thibet boundary.. ' . In future the Amban will conduct Thibetan affairs. '
