The earlier matches which went in favour of the local men, destroyed the advantage gained'by the Naw Zealanders yesterday. Parke? (N.Z.) brilliantly won his single matches agninat Bice and Sharp, both games producing some fine rallies. When the last doubles went against New Zealand, tho result stood ten all, and the premiership rested in the single contest between Wright and Laishley, of New Zealand. Each witha set to credit commenced an exciting game, Wright at one time having four games' igoinHC Laishley's one. The latter played determinedly and gradually wore down his opponent, winning the couclnding sec by 6 to 4, and giving New Zealand the victory. Following are the results: —Cox aDd Swanston v. Eice and Gaden, New South Wales won 4-6, 6-2, 10-8; Parker and Peacock v. Wright and Sharp, New South Wales won 1-6, 6-3. 6-0; Laishley and Gore V; Doust and Pockley, New Zealand won 4-6. 6-3, 6-3 ; Cox and Swanston v. Pockley and Doust, New South Wales won 10-4, 6-2. Singles—Gore v. Pockley, the latter won 6-2, 6-4; Laishiey v. Doust, the former won 7-5, 6-3; Peacock v. Sharp, tbe latter won 46, 6-1, 6-2; Parker v. Sharp, the former won 6-2 6-2; Gore v. Gaden, the latter won 6-3. 6-3; Parker v. Eice, the former won G-2, 7-5; Swanston v. Gaden, the former won [2 6, 7-5, 7-4; Cox v. Wright, the latter won 6-4, 6 2; Peacock v. Eice, the latter won 6-2,6 0 ; Laishley v. Wright, the former won 11.9, 7-5, 6-4
