Bomany Girl strikes me as being well in the Tomoana.Hnck Hurdles ,for the Hawke's Bay Spring Meeting. Handicappers seem to have takon it for granted that Blaz.r is a light of other daye, judging by tho Wanganui and Eangitikei assessments. He may give cham a! seyere set-back before these meetings are over. Excellent acceptances have been received for the Bangitikei meeting. The new ground acquired by the Wellington Eacing Club is considered admirably adapted for racing, and the soil of a nature to ensure good going even in midwinter.

The iNew Zealad bred horse Northumberland (Seaton Delaval—Campania) died recently in India of fever. He was owned by the Kour Sahib of Patiala.
